I sent a message to our customers this morning letting them know that Batchblue is pivoting away from the CRM business. While it is hard saying goodbye to so many Batchbook CRM clients who have also become friends, we are happy that we have found a great partner in PipelineDeals who will be working with our customers to keep their businesses running smoothly.
When we launched Batchbook, we shared a goal “to build a product that will help fellow entrepreneurs realize their own dreams.” Our hearts fill with pride as we reflect on all of the customer relationships that Batchbook has been a part of over these past 10 years.
As we look back, we’re proud to have played a role in the growth of social CRM and the development of an association of integrated small business applications. More importantly, we have played a small part in the great work our customers have done to save rainforests, track meteors, sell books, organize sporting events, develop fair trade products, manage concerts, learn programming skills, design furniture, and save the world to name just a few.
We’ve lasted a long time for our determinedly small size in this crazy big data world, but now realize our customers will be better served with an application that offers more integrated sales and marketing features. It was not hard for us to decide who to turn to, as we have had a long time respect for PipelineDeals and their equally passionate focus on customer service and relationships. We are so grateful for their willingness to work with us and our customers to meet their CRM needs.
While we are saying goodbye to the Batchbook CRM product, please know that the Batchbook team will be here to help transition customers. And we will always be committed to helping entrepreneurs realize their dreams.
