Batchbook Superhero Contest Winner: CelloManSings
This is the second in a series of blog posts celebrating National Small Business Week by naming those Batchbook customers who we feel have attained Superhero status because of the unflinching work they do to make the small business universe a better place.
Today’s Superhero was first discovered by our customer support team. Daniel Sperry, a.k.a. the Cello Man of Cellomansings.com is well known here at the Batchhaus for the kind messages, heartfelt poems and lively conversations he has had with the OnBoarding and Customer Experience team members. When we decided to name some of our customers as Small Business Superheroes, he leapt to the top of the list. No mere mortal that can have an entire customer support team so gleefully enraptured.
But it is not just his kindness that makes Daniel our hero. It is his creativity and devotion to his artistry. Not to mention his ability to turn that devotion into an exciting new business model.
Daniel is a lifelong concert cellist. The son of a professional cellist, he began his study at the age of 8 and has composed and performed with an impressive variety of musicians. Beyond that, he also writes “Musical Portraits” for his clients. Much the way a painter is commissioned to capture the personality and soul of an individual with canvas and paint, Daniel captures it with music. And he has orchestrated a traveling series of house concerts creating magical moments for music lovers around the country. Finding his housing along the way, booking private parties along the way, he threw himself at the mercy of an open hearted nation and documented the moving experiences and music as he went.
We are inspired by Daniel’s passion and creativity and hope to someday host him here in Little Rhody, the self proclaimed state of cultural innovation. It will be a match made in heavenly music.
