Batchbook Now Has Facebook Lead Ads CRM Integration

By Pamela O'Hara; Feb 27; Case Studies, Integrations, Product Updates; 0 comments.

Wouldn’t it be great to be able to save the new leads you are getting from Facebook directly into your Batchbook account? Well, now you can. With our new Facebook lead ads CRM integration powered by Zapier, you can do just that.

Facebook lead ads are a great way to advertise to a very targeted group of customers or potential customers and start a conversation with them about your business. Facebook allows you to run lead ads based on a variety of interests and demographics. We’ve found response rates much higher than other advertising efforts, because it’s super easy for Facebook users to submit their contact information and answer a few questions if they are interested in what you have to sell.

While you can periodically download the lists of leads you are getting from Facebook, it is much easier to have them automatically saved  into Batchbook so your team can immediately start reaching out to folks while they are still interested.

Feature Update: Improvements for Deals

By Brad Shimp; Jun 20; Product Updates; 0 comments.

As part of our most recent update, we’ve made a couple of tweaks to Deals to make the interface snappier.

Deals are great for tracking sales, donations, or really anything with a monetary value.

Quicker Deals Filtering

The biggest update is to the filter. Here, you can narrow down your focus to see deals in a specific category or stage, or within a certain range, etc.

Now, as you adjust the filter, the list of deals automatically updates. If you have both the filter and the list panels open, you’ll see the list adjust as you add filter criteria.

Say What? Get Clarification on To-dos

By Brad Shimp; May 12; Product Updates, Using Batchbook; 0 comments.

Need more info on a to-do? Now you can just send a reply. This week, we’ve added a simple little tweak to our assigned to-do email notifications that makes  it easier for you to collaborate. Turns out, if you have a question about a to-do, you might need to reach out to the person who assigned it to you for clarification. The easiest way to do that is by replying to the email, and now you can do just that! When you get a to-do assigned notification, we’ll include the assigner’s email in the reply-to: field. This puts them just an email response away. We hope this simple tweak helps you manage your tasks. Let us know what you think.

New Feature: Get Notified When New Contacts Are Added

By Brad Shimp; Nov 18; Product Updates; 0 comments.

Staying current with what is going on in your CRM is really important. That is why we have added our latest feature: email notifications for new contacts.

Set Up Your Notifications

You are in control when it comes to which new contacts you get notified about. This works with tags. Pick which tags you want to monitor, and we will send you an email any time a new contact is added with any of your selected tags.

Contact Notification

To get started, head over to your settings in Batchbook and look for the Notifications area. Check the box to be notified about new contacts and choose at least one tag.

Each user can customize their own notifications. So, while you may be interested in seeing new leads that come in through your website’s form, a colleague may want to get notified every time a new contact is created via a Batchbox email. Keep in mind that you won’t get notified for contacts that you create.

Using It

This new tool should be helpful in a lot of different scenarios. We’ve kept it simple and flexible so that you could use it in a way that makes the most sense to you. Here are a few ideas:Read More

Take Action from Your Inbox

By Brad Shimp; Oct 16; Product Updates; 0 comments.

Since we know that you have a lot to get done, we decided to make managing your Batchbook tasks a little easier. You live in your email inbox, so that’s where we focused our efforts with this latest update to the to-do feature in Batchbook.

Get More Info in Task Notifications and Reminders

For starters, we’ve pumped up the amount of information you get when you get a to-do notification or reminder. Previously, we would email to tell you about the task and direct you back to Batchbook to look at it. Now, you can view the task and description, as well as contact info for any contacts associated with the task, right in your email.

Have a task to call on a customer? When you get the reminder email on your smartphone, you can now just click on the contact’s phone number and place the call.

Get More Done From Contact Preview

By Brad Shimp; Aug 13; Product Updates; 3 comments.

In Batchbook, the contact preview screen is already one of the most useful places to spend your time. From here, you can view all your contacts, or filter down to see just a segment of contacts who need your attention today. We’ve just released a couple of updates for this section of the app that should make your work even easier. New Sorting Options Now you can sort your contacts by the date they were created or the date they were last updated. This could be useful if you need to see your longest standing customers, or your members who have not been active recently, or new clients who need onboarding. I’m sure you’ll figure out lots of other great…

Introducing Collapsible Widgets

By Brad Shimp; Jun 16; Product Updates, Using Batchbook; 0 comments.

One of the best things about using Batchbook is that you can store pretty much every detail about your contact right on one page.

When you have a contact open in Batchbook, you can see their contact info, to-dos that you have for the contact, a history of communications, files that are related to the contact, social details from Twitter and Facebook, any custom information you deem important, plus quite a bit more.

You can view most of this information in widgets, which are little boxes of information that you can move around on the contact page based on how you prioritize them.

This approach gives you great flexibility and a way to store a lot of pertinent info in one place. However, there is one downside to this approach. Because there are so many different things to keep track of for any given contact, you naturally need to have a lot of widgets. Some of them you might use all the time, some only occasionally. When you have a lot of widgets full of information, looking at all of it one one page can get overwhelming.

Based on user feedback, we’ve decided to improve the user experience for our contact page widgets.
