Wouldn’t it be great to be able to save the new leads you are getting from Facebook directly into your Batchbook account? Well, now you can. With our new Facebook lead ads CRM integration powered by Zapier, you can do just that.
Facebook lead ads are a great way to advertise to a very targeted group of customers or potential customers and start a conversation with them about your business. Facebook allows you to run lead ads based on a variety of interests and demographics. We’ve found response rates much higher than other advertising efforts, because it’s super easy for Facebook users to submit their contact information and answer a few questions if they are interested in what you have to sell.
While you can periodically download the lists of leads you are getting from Facebook, it is much easier to have them automatically saved into Batchbook so your team can immediately start reaching out to folks while they are still interested.
Facebook Lead Ads For Specific Customer Types
We’ve been doing some research into the most common integrations that different types of Batchbook customers use. We have a number of customers who are in public relations firms, so wanted to see what other apps these businesses were using.
Once we had the data, we created a Facebook campaign to see if any other PR firms would be interested in the list (feel free to check out the list of the best PR Agency Marketing and Sales Apps here). We used Facebook lead ads to target users who self identify as PR professionals and offered the downloadable list in exchange for an email address. We send one follow-up message thanking them for their interest and telling them about Batchbook and how other PR firms are using our product. It is then up to them if they would like more information.
Interested Facebook Users Saved Directly in Batchbook
We were thrilled with the number of agencies filling out the Facebook form to download the list. Those folks were saved directly in our Batchbook account including all contact information we requested (we just asked for name and email, but there are many options in Facebook).
The contact shows up immediately in Batchbook including details on the ad that they clicked on and any other information we collected in the lead form. Right away, we know who they are and what they are interested in, so can reach out with information that will be relevant to them.
Quick and Easy Outreach
We see these new leads instantly as they come in. We could set up an automation and tag leads as they come in based on the ads they are responding to. This would instantly send an email message with follow-up information relevant to the ad they responded to. For example, if they clicked on our “PR Agencies” ad, we send them information about how other PR firms are using Batchbook. If they click on the “Boutique Hotels” ad, we send them that information. We have many different types of businesses using Batchbook; creative agencies, realtors, yoga studios, travel agencies, nonprofits, and so many more. We can send information that is useful to them and their unique approach to customer relationships quickly and easily.
While we could fully automate this. we prefer to hand-hold the automation by sending each of the emails from within the contact record. We make sure the first name saved by Facebook is indeed accurate and we add a personal message if it seems appropriate. For example, if someone named Salli ✨ Star is interested in our PR agency info, how could we not comment on her using emojis as part of her first name?!? We used the standard email template pointing to some good examples of PR firm Batchbook use cases, but added a quick “Love your ✨ power, Salli!” message in the intro.
We have set up a template email based on each of the Facebook ad sets, pointing out some of the ways Batchbook can specifically help their business type. We tweak the message each time, depending on the recipient and what they were interested in. The entire process takes mere moments. And feels good.
Save Campaign Data for Relationship Tracking and Attribution Reporting
The integration automatically saves information into a custom field set describing which lead campaign and which specific ad they signed up for. By collecting this information we can run reports on which of our campaigns, and which ads within those campaigns, are generating the most interest and sales.
The integration also added a comment to the record describing that this lead came in from the specific Facebook ad, so that the team can easily see the origin of the relationship with this customer for years to come.
Act Fast, Keep It Personal
We love this new Facebook lead ads integration with Batchbook. It allows us to address the variety of different ways that customers are using Batchbook, while still keeping the communications relevant and personal.
You can also set up the integration directly in Zapier:
We are big believers in efficiency, but not to the point that folks will feel like they are building a relationship with a bot. We love that this integration lets us keep the personal connections, but lose the time consuming tracking and management.
