Worried about staying in touch with your customers? The New Batchbook is designed to help you gain a better focus on your most important customer relationships. A big part of this is the Champions feature.
Champions to the Rescue
Champions is a system of organization inside of Batchbook that you use to note your favorite customers.
On every contact, you’ll see a little star icon. By clicking on this star, you mark a customer as a Champion. Once people are marked as Champions, you can filter your Contacts, To-Dos, and Communications by this status. The Champion status can also be used as part of an advanced search. This will enable you to build a custom list, such as a list of your favorite customers who you haven’t contacted in the last month. The Champion feature helps you, and everyone on your team, give greater attention to your most important customers.
Find Your Champions
It may be tempting to think that every one of your customers is your champion. While each and every customer is important to your small business, only a small handful will ever truly become champions. These are the people who you do the most business with, those who tell their friends about you, and especially the folks for whom you have made a special place in your heart!
Champions are people we get to know on a first name basis, who have made us smile and made us love doing what we do.
Anyone in your business can discover champions and everyone on your team should be on the lookout. This will help you develop a culture of customer appreciation.
We discover the majority of our champions through conversations, which mostly take place via email or social media. Champions are people we get to know on a first name basis, who have made us smile and made us love doing what we do by being thankful, gracious, and excited about Batchbook!
Going Above and Beyond
It is a good start to just to be thinking about your champion customers and identifying them. But, with a little thoughtfulness, you can make Champions much more than a list. While you should do your best for every customer, your champions are the ones you go way above and beyond for.
When one person gives exceptional service, its great. When the whole team works together, its outstanding.
Just as everyone can discover champions, the whole team should be working to care for them. When one person gives exceptional service, its great. When the whole team works together, its outstanding.
Besides just recognizing champions and giving them priority when they need it, you should also develop a friendly, two-way relationship with these customers. When asking your champions for help with things like promotions, go out of your way to make it easy for them to do so and always be ready with a personal thank you.
Champions is a flexible tool designed to help you maximize relationships with your best customers. We can’t wait to see how you use it!
