Time is perhaps our most precious commodity. So, anything that can save you time is a good thing! And that is exactly what our Drag and Go instant CRM setup is all about.
Instantly turn a spreadsheet into a dynamic customer database
Getting started with a CRM, or even adding a bunch of contacts later on, can take forever. Not with Batchbook! We’ve been tinkering with our import process to make it easier and faster. The result is Drag and Go.
Now, with one move of the mouse, you can turn a boring spreadsheet into a dynamic customer database. To import new contacts, just grab your file out of it’s folder and drop it in any Batchbook screen. When you do, we will take you through a simple import process that will have you in the CRM and working on your customer relationships in no time.
CRM Setup from a Quick Import
To import a spreadsheet, just save it in .csv format and then drag it in. You will be taken to the mapping screen, where you can match up your spreadsheet columns to fields in Batchbook. Have a column that doesn’t match an existing field? You can create a new field with the click of a button. You can also drag in vCard files, which will be imported automatically, skipping the mapping screen.
Get full featured profiles for your contacts
After your import, you will have full featured profiles for each of your contacts. You will see all of the information from your spreadsheet, including your custom information. And, since Batchbook is a social CRM, any social profile information from your spreadsheet will be hooked up so you can see your contact’s latest social updates.
In addition to full contact profiles, each import will automatically create a new active list for you. That way, you can keep track of an import as a group and take actions such as sending emails, printing mailing labels, and exporting to integration partners such as MailChimp, Eventbrite, QuickBooks Online, and Xero.
