What, it’s Friday again already? Well, that’s good news! Wondering what’s the latest? Coming right up!

Need Social Media Help?
Speaking of entrepreneurs… Are you are a small business owner still struggling to make sense of using social media for your business? There’s an interesting guest post from Shoeboxed on the Boostsuite blog that discusses 3 Big Business Tools for Small Businesses. Looks like a great place to start! If you’re looking to get deeper into using social for your business, take a look at the Duct Tape Marketing post on How to Use Social Media in Sales.
Too many books on your list?
Ever find yourself with too many unread business books on your nightstand? I know I do and it’s hard to decide which ones will be worth my (limited) time. I recently discovered Actionable Books which has summaries of books to help you decide which books are best for you to spend your time on. I found the summary for The Accidental Creative to be especially interesting. How do you “Avoid the Ping” of email or social media when you are trying to get work done? There’s a ton of useful info on this site to investigate. But wait, I think that pile of books just got taller!
Weekend Fun in Brooklyn!
Looking forward to the weekend? Uber is sponsoring an Endless Summer promotion this weekend in Brooklyn, NY. Starting today at noon you can get a free UberX ride and there are lots of special promotions at Brooklyn businesses that you can take advantage of while you’re Uber-ing your way around Brooklyn. It would be a great way to celebrate Uber’s $258M round of funding, too!
Have a great weekend! I’ll see you next week. I’m late for lunch!
