With the release of the new Batchbook we are introducing a new price structure. We have long felt that the best way for a business to succeed is by involving the entire team in customer relationships, which means getting everyone in on the CRM action. To help our customers do this, we are excited to now be able to support an unlimited number of users on all of the paid Batchbook plans.

Rather than charge our customers based on the number of team members you have accessing your Batchbook account (and thus discouraging the most comprehensive record of the relationship), we are now basing the monthly subscription fee on the number of contacts you have active in your Batchbook account. In other words, you are paying by the number of good relationships, not by the number of people on your team. Our pricing goes up as your number of customers goes up, not as your efforts to serve them does.
And by relationships, we mean real customer relationships. Batchbook is where you should keep track of the ongoing conversations with your customers, not every e-mail address you’ve ever collected. We are giving you more and more tools to help you identify the important relationships, stay engaged with the most active customers, and keep your team focused on the right priorities. Leave your newsletter lists in your e-mail marketing software and bring in only those contacts who are actively engaging with you. This is how to grow your small business.

We know this change will effect a number of our customers who are migrating over from the old Batchbook system into the new one. We have based the new rates on the existing Batchbook user account usage. Over 80% of our existing users fall into the same or a less expensive plan when based on their existing number of contacts. For all customers migrating over, we will be grandfathering you into your existing price plan for one year from the day you migrate into the new Batchbook, so even if you are among the few who would see a price increase, it will be delayed one year. If you are eligible for a lower plan you will have the option to choose it when you migrate.
