In Batchbook, you can mark any of your contacts as champions by clicking on the star next to their name. This helps you mark your favorite customers, or maybe your strongest influencers, or your biggest spenders.
You can now set up automations for your champions. This will let you do things like creating a new to-do when you mark someone as a champion. Or you might want to send out a quick email to say thanks to a champion.
Create a To-Do When You Add a Champion
When you mark someone as a champion, there may be some follow up you’d like to do. Maybe you want to send them a nice handwritten note. Perhaps you’ll want to spend some extra time to build out their profile and make connections with them on social media.
Set up an automation to create a new to-do whenever a contact is marked as a champion. This will help you to remember those important follow up steps for your champions.
Send an Email to Your New Champion
You may want to send out an email to your new champions. For example, maybe you use champions to help manage your loyalty program, and you want to send them an welcome email.
With an automation, you can set up an automatic email to be sent whenever a person is marked as a champion in Batchbook. This email can be personalized with the contact’s name and other details.
You could also use an email to send an internal notification to team members whenever a new champion is added.
Here are all the actions that can be automatted when a contact is given champion status.
- Create a new to-do
- Send an email
- Add tag(s)
- Remove tag(s)
Additionally, you can set up an automation to mark a contact as a champion when a tag is added to a contact.
We can’t wait to see how you use this new automation!
