When last we checked in on our friends at Rise of the Cubicle Farmer, our friends AJ, Tony and Michelle were headed West. Armed with laptops, caffeinated beverages and a couple of videocameras, they’re on a 65+ day journey around the US and Canada stopping along the way to chat with entrepreneurs, workshifters, freelancers and the companies that help them do their work wherever and whenever they need it.
Thus far, the intrepid crew has met with with Pam Slim, author of Escape from Cubicle Nation and Lisa Horner of GoTo Meeting, hung out with some crazy cool Pasta Bar Owners, and interviewed Aaron Levie of Box.net. Hopping from coworking space to cafe, they’re living the digital nomad dream. Color us jealous!
They’re even using our recently launched BatchBook iPhone App to build a database of all the cool folks they meet along the way. See what AJ had to say about the App here:
The Rise of the Cubicle Farmer vehicle is now headed East and barring any additional flat tires or other roadside calamities, they should be rolling into the BatchHaüs in a matter of weeks. We’re looking forward to welcoming them with open arms. As long as they bring some donuts.
