The next few months are going to see some exciting new features being rolled out in Batchbook. I won’t give anything away, but it’s going to be a pretty big deal! In the meantime, we have a couple of small tweaks that we think will be helpful for a lot of folks.
Communications Gets a Refresh
You have all sorts of different communications with your contacts. We’ve added helpful icons so you can see the communication type at at glance. See a lot of emails on your communication history? Try spicing things up with a spur of the moment phone call or a tweet!
See a Whole Company’s Worth of Communications
This isn’t just a spiffing up of communications. We’ve also started pulling in all individual communications into their related company. This means if you are talking to 4 people who all work at 1 company, you can see any communications you’ve had with any of those people right from the company view.
Send Your To-Dos to a Calendar
One more feature update to mention. You can now get a calendar feed for your To-Do list! This means you can see your tasks right on your favorite calendar (mine’s Google Calendar, what’s yours?). A lot of folks work right out of their calendar, so this is a handy little feature to make sure you stay up to date with what you need to get done.
To set up your feed, go into your Batchbook account, click your name at the top left, and then click on Settings. Look for the box that says “Calendar Connections.” Grab the info from there and then follow the instructions in your calendar for adding a feed.
