Yesware Helps Manage Your Emails

If you are looking for a tool to help you manage and track your emails, you may be interested in Yesware. Designed to help salespeople gain more control over their emails, Yesware is a simple tool that sits right within Gmail. With it, you can manage email templates by category, track who reads your emails, record important emails in your CRM (ahem, Batchbook) with the click of a button, and more!

One neat feature is the way it integrates with Batchbook to record any emails you send with the click of a button. Yesware’s Gmail interface includes a CRM button, which you can configure with your Batchbox email address. When you want to record a sent email inside your Batchbook account, all you need to do is click the button. This adds an extra level of intuitiveness to our Batchbox feature. With the CRM button right there, you are more likely to remember to record those important emails in Batchbook!

You can also choose to track your emails so that you can see when they are opened and by whom. This is great for those of us who hover over the computer waiting for a response to an important email. This kind of tracking can also help you improve open rates by testing out different subject lines, or to improve responses from emails by A/B testing different email content.

If you use email templates, Yesware’s template interface will be a dream for you. You can organize your templates into different categories. They have some general sales categories by default, but you can customize the names of your categories to fit your own emailing habits. The templates themselves are easy to insert and customize. If you send a lot of similar emails, you are probably already using something like Gmail’s canned responses. Yesware improves on that and makes managing and using templates easy.

There are a few more neat features, such as the prospects list that sales oriented folks are sure to love. I don’t write sales emails, but there are aspects of Yesware that I have found very useful in my day to day emailing. This is a simple and easy to use tool.

Check out the Yesware to Batchbook integration for yourself and see if it improves your email experience!

It would be great if “deals” from our batchbook account could sync with Yesware’s “prospects”.

Yes, I have checked out Yesware because of your post — and I am very grateful to you, Bradford. I communicate with my customers in three languages. Therefore, I need three different e-mail signatures. Gmail gives me just one signature. In Yesware I can have as many signatures as I like. Plus many other templates, neatly sorted by language (I changed the category titles in the template section to “Swedish”, “German”, and “English”). Great stuff!

This application is off the hook good! It is great to see a document get tracked and know when it is opened. However, what is great is when you can see your email being passed around and opened by different customer contacts (some of which you may not even know) and then see where each of these customers are geographically located.

For example, just last week we sent a quote off to a customer in Iowa. In the past we would wonder if the emailed information was getting any kind of traction…

We then noticed the email was being opened up repeatedly in Kansas, Texas, Florida and Illinois! It is extremely reassuring to see customer activity like this. It prevents you from engaging prematurely out of fear of loss and allows you to allow things to develop organically. Kudos to Yesware – now we just need it to fully integrate with BatchBook
